this word can be best described as an adjective.

found while scouring a thesaurus, I immediately took to this word. Probably because the words descriptors are sweet and flowing like honey. In fact honey and flow are found in the word’s etymology. Thanks to my dictionary friends I learned that mellifluousness originated in the 15th Century surfacing in Middle English, a lexicon of old time favorites Latin, Gothic and Greek.

flowing with sweetness and honey.
pleasing to the ear.

On For Emma, Forever Ago Bon Iver’s voice is filled with such mellifluousness that I want curl up and cry.
